SACSNA REPRESENTATIVE SQUAD & WESTSIDE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS
What is Rep?
Our representative program offers young people the opportunity to compete in a challenging, higher-level environment. SACSNA has a strong history of player development and is committed to providing ongoing support for aspiring netballers.
Our representative teams proudly compete in both the Autumn (Jan–Jun) and Spring (Jul–Dec) seasons at the Parkville State Netball Centre (SNC) or Riverside.
By joining the program, players will experience competitive matches against other regional associations and benefit from advanced coaching designed to sharpen skills and enhance game strategies. The program is also a fantastic opportunity to build friendships and connect with like-minded teammates from across our clubs.
There are two tiers within the program:

Westside Development Teams
-
Encouraged- Compete with your local team at St Albans Caroline Springs Netball Association.

Compete with development team at SNC (Parkville) or Riverside and providing a strong local competition environment with weekly matches.

Focus on skill development and game experience at a club level.

Players train and develop under experienced coaches, strengthening foundational skills and game understanding.

In our Autumn season our SACSNA Representative Squad are selected (Trial dates and team selection made in Spring season).
SACSNA Representative Squad

Essential- Compete with your local team at St Albans Caroline Springs Netball Association. (17&U, 19&U, and Open Players are encouraged to play in a SACSNA domestic team, but this is not mandatory).

Compete with squad team at SNC (Parkville).
-
Selected athletes compete at representative tournaments and championships throughout the year.

Opportunities to play at the Netball Victoria Association Championships, representing SACSNA at a higher level.

OPPORTUNITY

Exposure to Netball Victoria Talent Scouts, with identification opportunities.​

Association Championships
-
15&U players may be Talent Identified (TID) to trial for the Central West Talent Academy.
-
17&U players may be Talent Identified for State Screening.
Talent ID is focused on 15&U, 17&U, and eligible 19&U players. Following State Titles, athletes may be invited to screening days for Talent Academy or State Team selection. The Association Championships also provide Talent Identification (TID) opportunities for male players and umpires.
Eligibility
11&U, 13&U, and 15&U Players must:

Be currently playing in a SACSNA domestic team in 2025, or
-
Be registered and qualify in the 2026 Autumn season.
17&U, 19&U, and Open Players are encouraged to also play in a SACSNA domestic team, but this is not mandatory.

Training Commitment
While you will continue competing with your local domestic team at St Albans Caroline Springs Netball Association, we do require commitment to weekly training held on Monday nights at Keilor Basketball & Netball Stadium, Keilor Park. ​​
​
Player Commitment
You will be required to play at Parkville State Netball and Hockey Centre or Riverside Tennis and Netball Centre once a week with your team.

11U & 13U Saturday mornings
15U Thursday evenings
17U Tuesday evenings
Open Age Tuesday evenings

SACSNA Squad also commit to tournaments and Association Championships scheduled dates.
EARLY DEVELOPMENT- NetSetGo
We enter NetSetGo (9U) teams that compete at SNC on a Saturday morning & provide weekly training held on Monday nights at Keilor Basketball & Netball Stadium, Keilor Park.
